The SARDAR PATEL UNIVERSITY is a State Private University passed by the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha under MADHYA PRADESH ACT NO. 26 OF 2011. The MADHYA PRADESH NIJI VISHWAVIDYALAYA (STHAPANA AVAM SANCHALAN) SANSHODHAN ADHINIYAM 2011. As per the Act the Management of the university is carried out by a Board of Governors headed by Shri Diwakar Singh, Honorable Chairperson Vindhya Shiksha Samiti, Sardar Patel Campus, Gaykhuri, Balaghat M.P. and the first chancellor of the Sardar Patel University.
The Sardar Patel University campus is situated amidst the verdant surroundings, stretching over nearly 80 acres of land owned by Vindhya Shiksha Samiti, Sardar Patel Knowledge City, Waraseoni Road, Dongariya, Balaghat M.P.
