Late. Dr. H.L. Trivedi, also the founding Director of Smt. G.R. Doshi and Smt. K.M. Mehta Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre (IKDRC) and Dr. H.L. Trivedi Institute of Transplantation Sciences (ITS) was a great visionary and philanthropist with super creative ability. By virtue of his initiative capability, perseverance, resourcefulness and tenacity to translate his dreams into reality, he was a living icon in the field of Nephrology, Transplantation and immunology research for the whole world. IKDRC-ITS and GUTS are living testimony to his tireless efforts, indomitable will, and commitment to his ideals and goals. His sterling leadership quality, remarkable foresight, pursuit of excellence and humanity with the ideals of “Service to patient is service to God” will continue to guide and inspire generations at the University.
