The Social leader of Sabarkantha and Dhansura Predesh Education Society laid the foundation of this College and in this way from June-1985, The Dhasura Peoples Co-op Bank Ltd. Mahila Arts and Commerce College was established and the dream of higher education for girls came true. It was the first Mahila College in Sabarkantha district and run very well and strength of students increased gradually after some years. We started first Co-education in Commerce faculty and then in Arts faculty. In this way Dhansura Arts and Commerce College came into existence and is run well. We had also started the Home Science subject for girls students for the practical knowlwdge of food and nutrition. This college was started with 90 students and now it has nearly 1000 students. We can also see the development of college in all aspects.
